i have moved away from scottish power twice in 6 months. on both occaisions they arbitrarily set our direct debit miles above our usage. i meticulously worked out our monthly usage, it came to around £40. despite repeated emails and phone calls, they completely ignored us and increased the payment to £70.
as i say, this is the second time in 6 months we have left them for the same reason, as they were our supplier at previous address. i have discussed this issue with colleagues and found other people who were hundreds of pounds in credit, only discovered months after the fact.
is this problem peculiar to scottish power?
