Mac Keyboard

Hi, I need to get a new Keyboard for a colleague to use on their Mac Mini (running Leopard).
Obviously I could go and buy one from the Applestore, but they are pretty darn expensive.
Anyone know of another keyboard that will work with OSX and has the correct Mac layout (ie. @ symbol is on Key 2, has CTRL, ALT, CMD modifier keys)

Any keyboard from any good Mac supplier, basic wired USB ones shouldn't be more than £20... loads of different manufacturers.
Try: www.jigsaw24.com, www.macwarehouse.co.uk, www.cancomuk.com etc.0 -
The wireless Mac keyboards cost a fortune (£48). But there are a few on the Apple website which are refurbished and hold a warranty - at £38.17. Still expensive but as my Mac Mini is an entertainment based hub - I wanted to be able to use keyboard whilst sat on sofa and not down by computer all of the time.0

I'd try to get a proper Apple keyboard if you can. They're very nice to type on (and they look good too!).
They only cost £28 from the Apple Store, or £28.74 from Amazon with free delivery.
PC World often have them in stock if you'd rather go pick one up yourself.0 -

I got one of these barely used off ebay for £15

Lovely keyboard. One of the nicest i've ever typed on much better than my old imac g4 one.0 -
Or buy an older one on eBay. The old Powermac/iMac keyboards are cheap.
Edit: yes to cyclebob, I'd have one of those for £15!0 -

That's the one.
It's certainly the nicest keyboard I've used. It has a very low profile which is better for the wrists. Using one of our other computers (which have "normal" keyboards) feels like typing on a 19th century manual typewriter.
Its design also keeps the crumbs out and facilitates cleaning. The old Apple keyboards used to fill up with McVitie's Digestive crumbs (and in my case for some reason, eyelashes) as though it was storing them up for the winter, and it necessitated a complete disassembly in order to clean it properly.0 -
Nothing beats my old Apple II Extended keyboards, these were £120 new before the first iMac appear, I still have one new and boxed, shame they are ADB and not USB, infinitely better action and feel, solidly built, a thing of quality!
I'm really fussy about keyboards, have a 15 year old, gorgeous PC keyboard, might look a bit old, but the quality and action of the microswitches is so much better than any of the modern rubbish churned out, can't remember the brand, but it was an expensive purchase.0
