Royal Mail

Options
Just got married and we're about to move. As you can imagine getting everything changed to my new name is taking time so some things are still arriving in my maiden name....

Setting up a redirection this morning and I have to pay double if I want mail redirected with two surnames...

Why can't they just redirect everything as a bundle from one address or at least charge one redirection and a half....not double...

so fustrating...

If they redirected everything sent to one address then when people move all the mail would be redirected inculding mail to the new residents!

Obviously I realise that what I was meaning that when you order a redirection, and put down the names you want redirecting that they only charge you once...sorry I should have made that more clear...:o

    think about it
all of those names will in general be getting their own letters
so 2 names,2 lots of letters
also bear in mind all redirected mail becomes 1st class
so even mail that is downstream access(meainng RM got lots less money for it) are then treated as 1st class

Have you read the "While you were out" forms that the Post Office deliver these days? I quote, "Royal Mail, the Cruciform AND THE COLOUR RED are registered trademarks of Royal Mail Group plc." (my capitals).

So... if you're seeing red, be careful you don't infringe their intellectual property rights or they'll charge you even more!
