Hey guys.......

Just wondered if anyone has any updates the free anti-virus, spyware etc section??

Hope thats not too cheeky but as a few of you know im a bit of a techno dunce.

    Sorry, laptop probs yesterday so couldnt reply.

    Basically I have had problems installing AVG anti-virus and just wondered which AV/Spyware programmes were "top of the class" at the moment?

    AVAST is a good alternative to AVG. It is also free, and just as effective.

    I have AVG free installed and working fine. Have you tried uninstalling it then re-installing?

    itsbeef ... and don't forget to install all the other free applications to help keep malware at bay e.g. Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster et al.
