How to save £10,000?

Morning,
I have £10,000 which I'd like to save somewhere. My cash ISA is currently maxed out for the year.
I wondered if I'd be better putting it in a 1 year fixed savings account (no access for 1 year) or whether I'd be better drip feeding into the Halifax Regular Saver account which pays 5% - but then the lump sum wouldn't go into it all at once.........
My head hurts.......:o

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Put all in Egg Savings Account.

Then withdraw money each month and deposit into regular savers
http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/regularsaver.asp - £500 @ 5%
http://www.bucksbuildingsociety.co.uk/investments/chiltern_gold_mine_issue2.asp - £250 @ 5.5%
Simples.
(you just missed out on 6.25% with the Bucks BS saver!)0 -
