I would first try a plastic wire scouring pad and lots of soapy water. Little bits that are well stuck might need a glass scraper - I've used wallpaper scrapers with success in the past - make sure it's a really clean on with no old bits on that might scratch the glass.0

Is it white wash or white gloss? If it's white wash, like you use on greenhouses, then it will come off quite easily with soap and water. If it's gloss paint however it will need a scraper and a LOT of patience. If so I hope you kept his deposit!Val.0

You MIGHT be lucky with paint cleaner like turps. But the sure fire way is to use a paint scraper - or if you think it is going to scratch the window - just get the glass replaced - using his deposit money of course!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Old fashioned single sided razor blades work a treat.
I even have a little plastic holder for them I bought years ago for the very purpose of scraping0 -
As it is gloss paint, then scraper is required, BUT this will probably leave scratch marks and take an age. I would get the glass replaced and deduct it from the deposit.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
