    Hiya

I started a thread last night on the holiday board and people have put loads on info on that so have a peek it might help. TkMax, matalan, Ebay and Aldi have all been suggested.

Thanks - I'll head over there now and have a look :T

  • Greetings all,

Its been a while since I have been on here, but felt that I needed a bit of inspiration and thanks to you lovely people, I got it.

A pretty quiet day for me too.

    * Checked my numerous bank accounts online
    * Made a payment to Barclaycard
    * Was going to buy a prezzie for my friends birthday (shes having a party later). Then I remembered that, I had a bottle of Cava in the fridge (leftover from dinner party) and a really pretty toiletries set that I got a few months ago from TK Maxx, just sitting in the present drawer, which only cost £3.00!

So will be bringing a bottle and gift without any outlay today.

Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend, I have a Saturday job so work in the morning.
    Total Debt £2178

  • -Worked out exactly how much debt I owe
-Making £10 from my Mum for babysitting
-Making £105 from my friend who bought my phone
-Getting majority of car insurance paid for by family for Christmas present (it's due in December)
-Tonight I will lay out every piece of clothing I own to try and downgrade my spending as much as humanly possible for holiday clothes, I should have almost everything I need clotheswise
-Ditto, raid the family cupboard where we keep sun creams, after suns, insect repellent etc to see if I can take those instead of buying new.
    -Checked online banking
    -Check for new available surveys
-Planned to purchase bikinis for holiday from Next, as I can obtain cash back through Quidco.
-Found a really good cheap meal, packet of pasta in sauce for 60p, add a bit of dried pasta, some tomato puree (or ketchup!) tastes lovely, feeds two!.
-Constantly checking mobile phone bill online
-Signed up with Next for an online account, so instead of getting a monthly statement I can check it daily.
-Stopped paying to go swimming, started doing sit-ups, crunches, squats and weights with the boyfriend, as he's really sporty and encouraging, like a free personal trainer!
-4 NSD's so far, going to aim for 12 this month! :A

    • Walk dog for free exercise
    • Hoover and dust downstairs
    • Have leftover veggie chilli for tea to use it up
    • Write a shopping list for the weekend
    • Do one load of washing and dry naturally
    • Check banks - grant has been paid in - no sign of a loan yet though!
    • Phone student loans people
    • Wash kitchen floor
    • Do any surveys that come
    • Post nat ins possible refund letter
    • Pick up mystery parcel from post office:confused:

Hi everyone - glad your Nan and Grandad had a special day yesterday Katy, hope you have a fun weekend celebrating!

    1) Avoided paying to have T's hair cut as the barber said it was too long to do. That's why I wanted it cut!
    2) Picked up school socks from Poundland.
    3) Made payments to CCs.
    4) Sc 10p + 20p
    5) Got a top from a charity shop.
    6) Online survey.
7)Looked online to find ideas to make a fascinator to wear to friend's wedding. I really can't justify paying for one!
    8) Put MOCs in purse
    9) Bought some half price tennis balls to put in Christmas shoeboxes for Romania.
    10) Put back a basket full of stuff in Wilkinson that was all very cheap, but I realised I was only buying it because it was very cheap, and actually didn't need any of it!

    Have a fun Friday night!

    Hi all,

    Today I have done:

    - went to work and worked hard
    - walked to the post office in lunch time instead of taking my car
    - lunch and dinner from freezer
-Vacuumed inside car and the house
    - entered comps online
    - Spend 0 today :j
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
