Keyboard all mixed up since reformatting?

Aswell as my colour(on other thread). My keyboard that was fine before it got formatted but now is muddled up . The @ and the " are round the wrong way and my pound sign is this # anyone know whats up and how i can correct it please?

Go to the Control Panel

Look at your Regional Settings.

Select Blighty... and you should be fine.

I'm guessing that when you re-installed Windows, you left the defaults for a USA machine. Try Start->Control Panel->Regional and Language Options the work through every option and choose English (United Kingdom)

Yep, that's the problem. Too easy to default to Bill Gates' native language (and k/b settings) in Windows setup.

Thank you so much everyone. It died again so this is now a new computer but id still like to sort the old one and its new errors out.
