I have pretty much made up my mind to buy this laptop which is currently being offered a free Hard Drive Upgrade to 80gb from 60gb, free memory upgrade from 512mb to 1024mb and free shipping till wednesday priced at £649 if you don't add any extras.
Included in this is one years warranty which seems sufficient to me but if I want insurance which also covers theft, accidental damage and on site repair for three years it would cost me £182.13.
I am just wondering if Dell machines make a habit of going wrong because its a lot of money to spend if its not gonna be used at all.
Also to those people with machines with bluetooth functionality how useful do you find it to be, what can it be used for?

If no-one expected shirts to be ironed then we'd all have time for more important things:T

I find bluetooth very useful. I use it with a bluetooth headset to make calls using skype and msn messenger, I also use it now and then to connect to my mobile phone to use as a modem.0
