How exactly to get free contact lenses while on jsa??

Aloha does anyone know exactly how you go about getting the money to cover the cost of your contact lenses whilst on jsa??

Ive looked on google, but it just keeps saying about how you are able to get it, but doesn't actually tell you from where or who you get it. :(

Anyone know??

Thanks

If you entitled to means tested benefits, you take proof of this eligibility to the opticians and get a free eye test. They will then give you a voucher which entitles you to money towards your prescription.
    Gone ... or have I?

You qualify for free eye tests if you are on JSA, but you only get a voucher to help with the costs of glasses/contact lenses after your eye test...that's once every two years for most people, you will have to pay for your own contact lenses the rest of the time.
