alliance-leicester overdraft

Hi

I am looking for some advice, or information from others experiences, I have a premier direct account with them. I pay £1071 every 4 weeks in to the account (my wage) I have had the account for over a year now. I have phoned and asked twice for a small overdraft and on both occasions I am met with an immediated NO almost as if they knew what I was going to ask, upon asking I am told I have a low internal score try again later.

Has anyone else been given a overdraft with them?

How can I improve my internal score? or what is the basis of it?

The only thing i can think off is that I dont have any DD coming from this account would this matter

Thanks
Jim

They don't want to give me an overdraft either - no issues ever getting credit elsewhere so think it''s just them!
  • They never gave me one when I switched, whereas Halifax were able to give me a grand

Do you tend to keep much / any money in the account during the course of the month, daryldo...?

they gave me the rubbish of they would only give overdrafts to home owners! I shot them down in flames with this one as my mum and dad have one with them and they live in a council house. They just feed you whatever rubbish they can think of to get you off the phone
