Unless I'm passing it's not worth it unless I have a Pedigree (no - not me the MOC).
All that's happened is I just buy a lot less there as I don't like to 'waste' a good coupon when I can get what I am after a lot cheaper at Home Bargains, Netto, etc.
TESCO - you are losing out!If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
I got my ticket to the GFS in Birmingham (courtesy of clubcard voucher)!!! My daughter, her boyfriend and I will be there on Thur. Nov. 26th. So if any of you are going that day I'll be the one with the American accent grabbing as many coupons as I can! Just realised that the Nov. 26th is Thanksgiving Day, best known for stuffing your face all day!! Can't think of a better place to be on Thanksgiving Day than at a food show!!;) Hope there is some turkey and stuffing to try!!:rotfl::rotfl:Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0

It depends on the bar code hun. If it's NNS and starts with 99 it should scan without buying the product. The price it scans at is determind by the last 4 digits on the bar code. Ignore the last digit so if it ends 1007 it will scan at £1.00 if it ends 0503 it will scan at 50p. Does that make sense? If it ends 0000 it means that the SA will have to manually imput the price & my Mr T's won't do that if I haven't bought the product. Other's may be different though. HTH's x
Perfect explanation - thank you!
(I guess I won't use the ones I have then as they'll no doubt get refused.)

You could try, the price instore at the moment for most of the Rustlers is £1.29 but I have never bought any. It's a challenge to try to get that moc taken and not recommended for anyone who gets nervous just using normal mocs.
I usually just 'tell' that price to the cashier - in the nicest possible way - and they rarely quibble as they know I know my mocs and prices. I always put free product mocs on the top of my pile, less likely to be overlooked (if they scan them and don't enter an amount I think you get nothing off...!).
In a different store the other week I took a Rustlers to the till with my shopping but deliberately left it at the end. It had only just been picked out of the chiller BTW and a lady swooped & took it to put back pretty sharpish - but not before I had pointed out the bright '£1.29' flash on the packaging to the cashier to prove my Rustler moc's value.
Happy couponing all!I just paid 5p for my shopping and then claimed a DTD of a few quid on something, which was a bit of fun (the CS was a trout though, she first of all refused me ANY money back because of my coupons and then when told to by a Manager, she grumped about giving me a gift card!).

With the Rustlers I buy 1 and use 2 MOCS, I have it as the last item so SA can easily check the price. I had never tried them before, I thought they would be disgusting but they are much better than I thought unfortunately, I have been getting the Aberdeen Angus one it's about £2.AKA: PC

I have done the same, bought one and used 2 coupons - not actually gaining anything except a free Rustlers. Don't really like them and nor do the family but have found they are better if you heat the burger in the microwave and pop the bun in the toaster. I also put some raw onion in with the burger before I heat it and that helps to make it more edible. Having said that I won't be buying any more!0
