I have never ordered in store, but you can use your coupons against toys and things if you pay for them with the rest of your shopping. Wouldn't have thought the direct desk would take coupons, but no harm in asking at the desk.:D HTH

Yes I have bought a few but what the children are asking for are not instore only from direct

I would be quite happy to only use the DM ones as they are really good and a shame to waste them.

Wonder if I should go and see my new best friend the manager :rotfl:

Thank you by the way :)

i got trouted on thursday, by a real jobsworth in tesco on self scan, thibnk he was peeved because till kept saying there was a problem everytime i scanned something! a box of surf then it bleeped he had the audacity after the 3rd item to say "do you kow how to use these tills!!!!!" err no how many gcses do i need! yes i said seething underneath cheeky "boy" , yes "boy"

He had no interest in being there earning his wage as everytime some other young staff member went past he begged them to take over but they wouldnt, just unfortunate he decides to do his job over zealously on me!

Called supervisor over and made her check every coupon as they were daily mail ones and clubcard conditional spends he still had audacity to question and then when the till wouldnt take all DM ones (even when i had spent on the right deaprtments,) had the joy of being made to feel like a criminal, just as well i had my notebook with me with each cateogory and what totals should be, that is my suggestion to peeps

To make a list beforehand and go knowing what you should spend

as i checked internet and got 2 box of balsam tissues for £1.90 they were marked up in store at £3.55 still! same for radox coconut shower gel that was £1.22 when instore orginal price over £2!

so not a good time as after bogofs came off i had waited for my coupon for 5p off petrol when you spend over £50 and my shop came to £48.15!!! so i didnt get it! but got £5 for some becks beer but i have had to pay over £35 for shop and not had to do that for ages!! and that was using a gift card too! sob sob.

rant now over i feel a lil better wanted some words of encouragement to go back shopping!

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Has anyone else been handed any free Pic A Paks? Went in this morning and they had a shed load at the entrance with a couple of people handing out 2 to every shopper along with a 30p NSS coupon. I got 2 on the way in and 2 on the way out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Guess what - I also got my 6th strongbow/stella/becks MOC :D and £16 off so not bad for a 3 internet only shop.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Ive still got 5 coupons for the £5 beer offer. I only want becks, but all four stores near me have sold out. They all have only a few strongbow and stella left too.

They said some more will be coming, but i wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt.

My store have sold out of the beer but theres a sign up saying the till spits are valid for 2 weeks after they run out due to being out of stock.

Was the coupon a Couponnet one? How many would it let you print?

No it wasnt coupon net, not one i have seen before and would only let you print once, had to give all your details to enter the competition and the coupon was then e mailed to me.

  • Hi Guys
I sent a load of receipts and Farmfoods & Lidl conditional spend coupons to Dundee requesting reimbursement. I'd said I'd phoned up and was told to send them in and I requested the return of my receipts. Got rubbish reply, 100 cc points and a quote of the policy (!):confused:
Rang them and complained of poor customer service to be told to send them in and then get a contradictory reply and no return of receipts. Got letter today from same CSM with apology for not returning my receipts (they've binned them :rotfl:), £20 moneycard, and the usual store discretion fob-off re: conditional spend coupons.
So, not a bad result icon7.gif , though it would have been nice if stores were obliged to accept the Farmfoods and Lidl coupons. They are not -

Don't forget to use your tesco vouchers (if you still have any left, ideal for buying xmas pressy) to exchange for double the price if you are purchasing toys in store or online or buying perfume ( I am waiting for perfume stock to come in) . Say £10 voucher is worth £20 vouchers.

quote "I have 2 till spits for £2 off printer cartridges WYS £10 @ Tesco. They are currently 200pts WYB 2 so may be useful to someone. EXP dates are 22/9/09 & 22/9/09 unquote".

What is WYS pls? thanks :A

When shopping today, not got trouted, just the casher was a bit doh!, she scanned the Daily Mail coupons for meat, cheese & cooked ham (£2.50, £1 & £1) it beeps & she said sorry cant accept it, I said no probs just scan the rest of the 19 coupons then came Farmfood £2.50 "sorry we dont accept FF again I said ok, now can you call your supervisor over please. Supervisor came, I said I know you accept FF coupon & she look at the rest of the DM coupons & said she'll pay me back at the customer service desk. She told the casher to scan £2.50 farmfood voucher as other coupon & instead of she scanning £2.50off, she scaned £5 off! I didnt know that until I came home & checked the receipt.
