I got trouted yesterday. A few weeks ago I went to the trouble of emailing Dundee after having a run in with the Duty Manager at my local Tesco. She said she wanted evidence from Dundee that I was allowed to use coupons so that is what I did. I took the email shopping with me a couple of weeks ago and had another run in and the Customer Services Manager was called. She said the email meant nothing and they had their own policy - told me 8 coupons of my choice (including internet).
Yesterday the young lad had just finished putting through all my coupons (about 20) when the Supervisor passed by and spotted them. She told the young lad off and then proceeded to void them all and then picked out 4 Pik Pac coupons and the ones from the Daily Mail and Sun and said that was all she could take. I pointed out that the DM and Sun ones I had actually bought the products but she said that made no difference it was still only 8 and they could choose which ones they wanted to accept and definitely no internet. I told her I had spoken to the Customer Services Manager and had been told differently. At this point she called the Duty Manager who said she would accept the coupons I had bought products for plus 8 others of my choice (including internet). The Supervisor was "steaming", you could almost see it coming out of her ears! She said she wasn't taking responsibility for them and she pinned them all together and wrote a note to that effect and then got the Duty Manager to sign it!
I think I had better stay away from that Tesco for a few days just to let things calm down a bit.
Anyway, sorry about all the rambling but I do feel better now I have got it off my chest!
I was trouted yesterday by a young lad, but when line manager came i stood my ground.
They tried rejecting all the bigger ones, but i refused.
Eventually he said put em all though. Half way through, he said he had forgot which ones he had done, so they had to cancel all the coupons and start again.
The woman behing rang someone on her mobile to say she was being held up. She only had four items.
Ive still got 5 coupons for the £5 beer offer. I only want becks, but all four stores near me have sold out. They all have only a few strongbow and stella left too.
They said some more will be coming, but i wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt.0 -

Don't know if I should have printed that in blue or not - sorry if not
Can we use the DM £2.50 off wys £10 on toys if you place an order in store with Tesco Direct? I know it says on the coupon cannont be redeemed at .com but I was wondering if anyone had tried using it instore rather than on the internet?
Also can you use MOC'S against an instore order for Direct? Or has anyone tried?
Thank you!!! xx

I have never ordered in store, but you can use your coupons against toys and things if you pay for them with the rest of your shopping. Wouldn't have thought the direct desk would take coupons, but no harm in asking at the desk.:D HTHBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
