OMG:eek:
She sounds like scum, your oh is well rid of her:rotfl:
I wouldn't even read her letters anymore I wouldn't waste my time I would chuck them in the bin. Poor children having a mother like her:mad:
The minute our pwc said something about our children was when my oh had to cut all contact, she crossed a line that should never be crossed!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

weird though isn't it. you just try to keep out of the way dont really voice an opinion because child has 2 parents and its they who should be getting together to talk about their child, you know what i'm getting at, only joining in when asked so as not to get in the way.
always there for contact whenever she decides not us, throughout all the problems we never stopped any paymentsto be honest I only (lol) found out about that from this forum I would never have thougt of it myself:D and we have all these problems I suppose if we werent bothered about the children we wouldnt careless about being stopped from seeing them would we thats why we feel bad. I've learnt a really hard lesson in human nature over the past 10 yrs its a sad fact there really are just people out there who are nasty for the sake of being nasty and no other gain:eek: shocking but its a fact I dont need to understand why it just is.
ok I wasnt going to do this but what gets me is WHY? we didnt do anything to her didnt mess her about with anything if we had a problem she was told in advance if we were stuck in traffic etc she got phone calls WHY did she do these things. I'll always wonder why. and I never forgot booking a really nice holiday with the kids in mind pwc was asked told the dates it was all ok'd by her and school then about the day after it was fully paid up she rings nrp to say its out of the question he cant go, now what did she gain from that. one of her most perplexing actions her son lost out on a good holiday because of her, when on this forum I read of pwc whose nrps p*ss off without their kids who live with their mothers. I dont get that even today.0 -
and you never will get it because you don't think like her;)
I was the same happy to go along with her stupid requests until it all got so out of control, why should I live my life dictated by that b&*$ch?? so we live our life by our own rules now. We pay her money and when the children are old enough for the CSA to no longer be involved we will pay them direct and at that point if she is struggling to make ends meet I will simply look the other way and I wouldn't pay her a penny!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Well said Dancing Shoes - something similar in our case.
The PWC claiming benefits some time ago, demanding more and more in way of cash maintenance from us, so she didn't have to declare it, got peeved with us when we were paying via postal orders, then decided to go to CSA, as we just COULD NOT afford the increasing demands from her.
Anyway, now on CS1, we have massive issues with an incorrect assessment, and Tribunal next month, as CSA promised her 34k in arrears, have acknowledged it is incorrect, yet want Tribunal to hear case, as NRP (hubs) is self-employed, and clarification on some issues, is deemed by CSA to be better dealt with by Tribunal. Thus meaning, when the incorrect 34k alleged arrears is corrected, if we do owe anything at all, can you imagine how the PWC is gonna react????????
Her 34k from us is no longer payable? We will await the fallout, no doubt no matter where you reside in the UK you will hear her thunder!!!!0 -

Hi All
It's already been said. It's because they are jealous and they want what we've got. It's just a shame there are kids in the crossfire.
I have never got involved in any of the rows between oh and ex (yet) though I've been tempted. But I'M better than that. It just makes me sick that this govt enable them to rob us. I am also a pwc and I was never that vindictive. I asked for nothing and even begged him to keep in touch with our kids. We finally had a conversation, with no animosity, a few months before he died after years.
I know there are pwc who have a really bad time getting money from ex's I would have been one of them. But I couldn't be bothered with all the hassle. And even then, because I had 4 to him I would have only got the 'three or more' calculation of 25% whilst her one gets 15%. Lose all round.
This govt needs a kick up the !!!!!. PWC's on benefits who have been told by csa that they are entitled to maintenance are getting everything over £20 deducted from benefit even if they haven't received anything from nrp because he keeps changing his employment status. It's disgusting. So she is being 'robbed as well because the govt computer says 'no'.
There has got to be a way of making this fairer. First off take the ctc out of the equation. This is for the other kids. Why should pwc keep everything. These laws have made them greedier and it's causing mayhem between nrp's and their children because the pwc has all the control causing Parental Alienation Syndrome. It's sad."A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing." George Bernard Shaw:p0 -
are there any circumstances eg a lottery win by the PWC where the NRP's contribution is reduced? I ask this because I have heard that my ex has come into a substantial amount of money and this is reflected in the new cars and holidays etc but when I ask she says it is none of my business and she still wants the contribution in full......0

Ok, I think your payment will still stay the same because its your half of the contribution to the daily upkeep of your child. so I dont think the pwc inheriting say a million would change your payment at all (even a million if you were going through the csa). only if you spoke to the pwc and she says shes happy to take a lesser amount.0

is there any circumstance where the CSA would recognise the wealth of a PWC and reduce the contribution of the NRP - for instance if the PWC won the lottery or married into wealth0

sorry I posted twice, thanks for response Blonde Bint, this seems ridiculous, my ex has remarried to a guy with a great job and the ex has sold what was the marital home which she got as part of the settlement - so she has big wedge in the bank over £200k as a result of the sale and the costs of keeping her two kids must be reduced because it is now shared with new partner - I suggest putting part of my payment into trust for the kids but she demands I give it to her but all you PWC's out there do you agree her costs have gone down considerably and it seems odd that a NRP should provide for a PWC that is better off?0
