Birkenstock - Brilliant!

Thanks to Daniella at Birkenstock, for providing excellent customer service :T:T:T.

Towards the end of last summer I bought a pair of Birkenstock sandals and found them really comfortable. With it being towards the end of such a bad summer, I didn't get the chance to wear them much and so packed them away for this year (very MSE - don't just wear things for one season here ).

Whilst on holiday in Rhodes I was shaking sand from them when the fastening came off and disappeared two floors below our balcony. Despite searching in the long grass, we couldn't find it anywhere and I seriously thought I would have to bin a practically new pair of sandals since I couldn't fasten them.

However I e-mailed Birkenstock and within a week they sent me a complete set of fastenings for both sandals, so I can now put them away for next year :j.

It's great to find quality service and it will guarantee I'll buy from them again.

Being a Newbie on here, I didn't know what to expect when I read your post. I guess I should own up to thinking it would be yet another disgruntled customer airing their bad experience so that the rest of us know to avoid.
Well, I was wrong. It's nice to hear of a good customer experience for a change :j

I think it's about the fourth post I've made over the years praising good service. The others were about 'Lakeland' http://www.lakeland.co.uk/ - the company who sells kitchen equipment, 'Daysoft' http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/ who supply daily disposable contact lens by mail order and Kemps http://www.kempswoolshop.com/ - famous on 'The Knitter's Thread' for supplying quality yarn at great prices. All these companies are very courteous and believe in putting their customers first.
