done this many times., and this way have lost what i was writting that time .
One problem i have noticed it does a lot is on top of internet explorer apears ''TOSHIBA FLASH CARD IS NOT WORKING'' this very common.

The flash card is what controls the use of the function keys to adjust the screen brightness and this was a known software problem rather than a hardware one, if you do not use the function keys to adjust the brightness etc you can disable them by doing the following:
Start
- All Programs
-- Toshiba
--- utilities
----Setting for Flash Cards
- Check "Disable TOSHIBA Flash Cards"
For the first part are you using Vista? If so the only thing that this sounds like to me is that you have missed the option to restart now/postpone restart from automatic updates and your 10 minutes has passed. Is the percentage thing on a greenish screen after the computer has logged off? Or am I on completely the wrong track?0 -
ITS a wista willow, thanks. will try disabling it , maybe it helps..
though dont understand the other bit in the end sorry0
