Charlie Chaplin's favourite cologne was Guerlain's Mitsouko, which is nowadays classed pour femme:p
I have a few favourite gentlemen's colognes I just love to wear.
These are Guerlain's Heritage, Royal Bain De Caron Champagne, Lagerfeld and Bogart Pour Homme.
I'm also extremely lucky to have Luten's Ambre Sultan, thanks to my BF, and the difficult to get hold of, Kolnisch Juchten.
I don't really care whether a perfume is for ladies or gentleman. If I love the smell I will wear it!
So do us ladies here do the same? Guys are welcome to reply too as I know a guy who wears Anais-Anais

oh, yes my OH used to wear Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet (sp) but it was lovely (i actually bought it, lol) i used to spray this on me sometimes as it just reminded me of him.
Guys tend to love Anais-Anais, i always get complimented when i wear it, the say it is distinct but very very seductive;)
I do wear the CK1 sometimes though which is unisex.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
I am a sucker for some of the men's deoderants though, lol, not all but a few
I often nick my OH's before my own.
As for fragrances, I do like Joop too - the red bottle.
Its tough to get my OH to wear them so i'll wear them for him
And i too am not bothered in the slightest if its mens or womens - i tend to wear alot of the accesories found in the mens section of H&M or River Island, or even Topman. I think it looks really funky when you have a girl dressed up and then a nice mens scarf, or beaded or titanium looking jewellry added, its a nice twist.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
I'm a sucker for Lynx Africa. My boys wear this and I love it. But I won't!
Like you I wear men's clothes - especially shirts - and I've got a couple of waistcoats too.
Next purchase is a Triby hat:cool: love the 40's look.0 -
Absolutely - I'm a guy and I've worn a few things that strictly speaking are called 'perfume' in my time. I used to like Glow by J-Lo when it first came out (cringe). And one of the Christian Dior Poison ones is really nice (think it might be Midnight but I can't remember - it's been years).
Many of the fine fragrances are designed to be for anyone anyway - see a lot of the Guerlain ones and the new Boadicea the Victorious range, for example.
Not that I'm trying to justify Glow as 'fine fragrance', I hasten to add! It was nice but it's not Creed at the end of the day!"I'm not a one-trick pony. I'm not a ten-trick pony. I'm a whole field of ponies - and they're all literally running towards this job."
An utter berk, 2010.0 -
I do because I love vetivert so much and can't find a woman's scent that has enough of it in. At the moment I'm on Lanvin's but it is rather masculine. I might give Guerlain a shot0

I don't wear mens aftershave but if I did I would pick Joop (the original one). I just love that smell
Sadly H never did, he's an Armarni type of guy.
I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Try Verveine/Verbena by L'Occitane -it's in John Lewis, a lovely fresh lemony smell which is light. Been using it this summer but, as an EDT, it doesn't last all day.
Used to love Jazz, very sexy smell when it first came out.0 -
My OH doesn't use any, but in the past I bought myself a bottle of Joop (the men's one). I know have the women's version, which I don't think was available at that time.0

I only wear Dune, but I love the scent of mY OH's aftershaves, he had a few, and I would often scent the pillows when he was working away - sad I know.0

I wear loads of male fragrances.
Ambre Sultan is unisex and legend has it suppose to smell like female juices.
I call it sex in a bottle.
The last male fragrance I bought was MPG's Iris Bleu Gris on sale.
Parfums di Nicolai New York is fabulous and everyone should wear it.
Chanel Egoiste not the Plat one is amazing.
Guerlain Heritage
I have never had someone rush up to me and say you are wearing men's fragrance.
For those starting out give Dior Homme a sniff, its iris and fizzes on the skin.
Caron Le Tre Homme is gorgeous so smooth.
Also you would be surprised at the men who do wear women's fragrance as well. Male skin is drier than female so it will smell different on them. The same works the other way round.0
