Looking for a good deal on a mortgage

I don't have a mortgage with them but I do have a savings account and got a flyer with this flexible one which I thought was quite good,

It's very low fees [£99], free legals/valuation, no tie in, no HLC, daily interest etc.

They and Yorkshire BS don't do mortgages through brokers and, as a result, don't seem to always come up on the comparison sites quite as they should. Always worth trying both IMO.

On the face of it, like ian says, it seems fairly competetive.

The main thing that stood out was the fees are non refundable and unable to be added to the loan so get a decision in principal (if you can) before shelling out any cash.

I would always recommend seeking WOM mortgage advice (fee free) to compare see what they can do. If you find the britannia more competetive then at least you know that you have got the best deal.
