You'll stress yourself into an early grave.
The OP might not have meant common as in numerous, could have been common in the other sense of the word, like people who wear Elizabeth Duke jewellery or watch reality TV. Certainly the early mentions of Audis, Golfs and BMWs suggest some people interpreted it this way.0 -

2. who was swearing? this site has a swear filter so you cant see any swaering.
3. heres one
heres another

its in here somewhere

Oh dear..... selective reading at its best... let me try and help you....
To quote the OP.... "Most common car on the road - what do you think it is?"
1. If the OP had said "what is the most common car on the road" you MIGHT have had a point, but saying "think" indicates that the OP wants people to give an opinion and / or guess.
2 - don't even try and deny swearing... it may be starred out but the intention was there.
3. Couldn't be bothered to read all the links you posted, but from looking at the first two, you have mistakenly (as I suspected) taken "most popular" (in terms of the number sold in a year) to mean "most common"... unfortunately it means nothing.... just because the Focus has sold the most over the last few years, doesn't make it the most common car on the road.
Never mind hey.0 -

1. i dont think a poster with 18 posts came on here to conjure up some creative thinking amongst us, i think they actually wanted a real answer to thier question.
2.if you can actually see a big bad swear word in any of my posts then well done. all you can see is some stars, its your mind that inserted the swear word. for all you know i could have said f******g instead of f*****g. i'll let your mind do the rest here again.
3. the car that has sold the most, more than any other for the last 10 years will more than likely be the most popular car on the road at the moment.
i havent seen anyone post any evidence of anything other than the focus being the most common car on our roads yet. have a try....work permit granted!0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: Calm down dear, its only a message board forum.
To be honest, I am yet to see any evidence that any car is currently the most common on the road, only what has been the most popular in the last few years.
By your measure I make the Toyota Corolla the most common car - 37,000,000 sold compared to the Focus' 5,000,000

I think you might be wrong.
But what do I know, I've only got 32 posts, I'll get back to my word guessing game.goldspanners wrote: »
