Good Afternoon,
I am looking at a laptop package that include "NORTON 360" (version 3.0). Can anyone tell me what this actually does and how it works. Once you have the disk does it mean you have the secuity package for life, or for a limited time?
Many Thanks

In my opinion even newer version of Norton are awful. [cue loads of replies disagreeing]. If you want to pay then I would highly recommend ESET Smart Security.0

I have norton 360. It protects you for web browsing, email and IM. Secured for online shopping and banking, PC tuneup and back ups.
You dont have a security package for life, you need to update i think every year at a cost.

Norton 360 is an internet security package to protect your computer from malicious stuff.
It's not the best package out there, you can get better free ones such as Avira.
IMHO tune up and back up isn't needed in a security program0
