PayPal Question????????

Hi,

A quick question i cant seem to find the answer for. When making a purchase using paypal(or in my case loading my papyal top up card with funds), is there a way of doing so with out using funds in your paypal account??

The reason being i want to make purchases/topup my pappal with card using my credit card. However i want to money received in my paypal account to either remain there for most likely transferring to my bank account at a later date!!

Does this make sense??

Any advice would be great.

Paypal will always take funds from your paypal balance before it will use another funding option
  • Pay the funds to a friend, make your payment, then get friend to refund.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • What if i dont have a friend... well, one that would be happy and willing to do this regulary. Is there no other options? Can you have two paypal accounts? One for purchases, and another for receiving fund??

You could have a premier account for receiving payments and a basic one for sending. That would be within the rules. They would both need different bank details though.

Any account you use to send payments would be free. However an account to receive payments will make a charge , per item, for all amounts received except in a few situations where funds are transferred from a balance on a private transaction (ie not a sale or purchase of any description).
