    It would be asking the charity if they have a policy on reimbursing other expenses - they offer lunch and travel, and may be able to do more.

    Having said that, I know that if someone could only volunteer with us if we paid £450 pm in childcare we'd have to think very seriously whether we could afford it, or whether we could get what we needed done some other way. I work for a small charity.
