    Really?...according to Duncan Bannatyne...he used debt (including overdrafts)to help finance and expand his businesses, which are worth over £300,000,000.

    Halifax online offers me £3300 OD which I have not used. All I do with the account is flash £1k/m through to get the £5 reward. Not tried asking for an OD anywhere else.

    Read my post again. I said personal overdrafts. Business overdrafts are an entirely different proposition, and I can see their value.

    Personal overdrafts are no more than a bail-out option for poor personal financial mismanagement.
