Sellers address not on file!

I've just bought something and went to send a note to say that I'd send a cheque but ebay gave me a message to say that I should ask the seller for their address because it's not on file.
I will do this of course, but I didn't think this was allowed.
The seller has 100% feedback on nearly 150 counts, so I'm sure everything will be fine. My worry is that I've been having a few problems selling lately, and don't want to be caught out on buying as well.
I suppose my question is, can anyone think of a nice way to say get your details completed mate!

You could email the seller and just say that you were looking for their address on eBay so that you could send payment but there wasn't one. Ask if they can add an address ASAP so that you can then mail the payment.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Thank you! I was just a bit concerned they may be trying to fleece me as they only accept cheque or postal orders.DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0

I'm exactly the same, I don't post my address on Ebay. I would sooner just email it to someone if they want to send a cheque.
I would like to protect myself from as many nutters as I can and this helps me feel happier.0 -
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that you did actually have to have your contact details available on eBay?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

There's a special bit to make them visable to buyers who want to sent cheques/PO's etc, and it's quite hard to find! I had a few buyers email and ask for my address, and it took a while to figure out what I'd done wrong.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
