  • Thats the point queen, due to your husbands health you have no way of knowing when he may have to take some time of sick, so it is highly likely things may average out over the year.

    Your OR is fully aware of this, so as long as you dont exceed the estimate for the year by a considerable amount, i doubt it will be a problem, even if you do, thats the risk the OR took by 'averageing your OH's wages in my view

    thanks I put an average for both of our wages mine because I am on basic plus bonus so again I averaged the bonus over the 3 months to get a figure and put this in a letter advising that I have taken an average as mine fluctuates from month to month a fair bit, when my OH was off for the 2 weeks I did not advise OR so that a reduction in IPA could be made I didn't think the loss of 2 weeks was worth then messing about with the IPA
