Windscreen cracked by garage during MOT

Is this by any chance another Kwik Crap post

And to add the windscreen would have been perfectly happy to flex with the bodywork when jacked if it had been in good nick, unfortunately it wasn't.
I once took a 3 year old Cavalier back to the Vauxhall main agent. The roofline under the screen seal had rusted through in about 8 places believe it or not. I claimed under the paint waranty. However The screen was bonded and had to be removed for painting. I was informed there was a 50/50 chance the screen would break and due to it having a couple of chips and high mileage, I agreed to take the chance. Yes of course, it broke.
Claimed on the insurance and paid the excess, worth it for a clear view of the road
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Ah that is true.

Not always I'm afraid. More and more companies, Directline for one, now charge for chip repairs. If you listen carefully to the wording of the Autoglass (boo hiss) adds it states "repairs can usually be done FOC"
