.... and I've now found out they were bought out by Travelocity last year. A friend also had shares and told me his shares were automatically bought out and he recieved a cheque late last summer. I haven't recieved anything.
How do I go about claiming my money?
Many thanks!

Were these in a nominee account with your broker or did you have your own share certificate?
If the latter, you and your address would be on the shareholders' register and you would have heard from the company or its broker with instructions.
If the former, your broker might well have banked the money and credited your account. Although he is a bit out of order for not contacting you and telling you about this, I would suggest you contact him to find out 'what's what'?0 -
I had the share certificate and hadn't heard anything from them in a while. I'd completly forgotten about them until the subject came up. Any ideas how I should get the money? Surely they'd have some record somewhere.0

Many thanks again for the help.
For the record in case anyone else has the same problem, you need to contact Lloyds Registrars on 0870 241 8114 and don't enter any options. Give them your name and the address, where the shares are registered and they'll send out a new cheque.0
