sudent finance glasgow address for special delivery pls

hi all, they have lost my 2nd signed declaration.... even tho it was sent special delivery and was delivered. I need to send another one today special delivery. From memory they have an alternative address not the po box one.. does anyone know what it is please? TIA

How did you find out your delcaration was lost? On phone?

I have had this problem twice now and sent them an internal message saying "Hi, I have sent my declaration form 2 weeks ago and was wondering when my status would be updated".

Both times, a couple of hours later the status mysteriously changed.... try that.

hi, i have phoned and sent messages. Today i have been told i should re send. i sent 2 decs off... 1 in June and 1 1st week August. I will try again tho.. anything is worth a go!

Humm.. updated... just tried to contact them via the direct gov site when logged into my account and there is no email us etc?? this is just getting worse and worse lol.. also all my previous letters from them arent accessable..infact they are no where to be seen

As this is the alternative to PO Box although the PO Box is likely to go to the Printing office. I would send it to the PO Box as the mail is seperated to make sure it gets processed as quickly as possible. You have remember that all students will be sending these declarations in so the occassional one may go missing unfortunately.

thanks for the info. i can understand 1 going missing but i was advised by a manager to send my 2nd one in with some evidence they needed...the evidence has been scanned and returned but no sign of the form that was stapled to the evidence...gggrrrr

Yep this year when it happened for a second time they sent me another declaration form to sign, which I just ignored because by that time they had updated my status.

And Contact Us thing disappears every now again, I assume because of high demand.

Brians Daughter - The evidence would have been seperated from the form during mail sorting. The form may still be awaiting scanning due to the loads at this time of year. You could send another but it will also be in the pile awaiting scanning. Until the scanning is complete then the system will not be updated.

Hi thansk for the info, student finance did say the same yesterday more or less except that returned declarations are taking max 10 days, so considering they have had mine months they have suggested re sending.which i have done today!
