Paypal "transaction review"

I received one of these last night, telling me the payment from the buyers bank had been reversed and paypal were holding my money.
Item was bought 31 august, posted recorded 1 sept. no correspondence received from buyer.
This review has now come through, so I've sent all details back to paypal that they've requested.
Received a reply from Paypal saying that they trust the buyer will accept my details as proof of delivery-however, online tracking is not shown, just that it's with the post office.
Either way, buyer hasn't contacted me at all.
I accept the item may have got lost in the post, but confused as to why this automatically goes to Paypal rather than buyer even contacting me to ask when it's going to get posted.
Thankfully item only worth £20, and so glad I send everythign recorded!
How do these things normally get resolved? What should I make sure I do/don't do with Paypal to ensure i am still paid for the item I sent to the buyer?

As long as you followed all of the procedures you should be covered by seller protection So as long as you have that covered you wont lose money. It is though sometimes worth telling Paypal what there own rules are as sometimes they don't know them and need a little reminding0

I did, as I knew the day would come that this sort of thing would happen.
My only problem is that the item was sent online trackable, but doesn't appear to have been tracked. Will be bulk claiming for all the recorded items that have not shown as tracked next month as it's about 30% not tracking through.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Thats why I rarely bother with recorded items under £39. If they go missing I just claim via COP, it also keeps my postage costs down and more competitive0 -

My price is a little more than the competitors, but I sell 3 to 1 more than they do as I think people see recorded as a better quality service, so pay that little more.
Then claim their extra money back from RM when the items don't track:DWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?
