:) I'm sending out productive vibes today - I'm at home with the taller-than-me-people (kids) who are just home :)

Thanks all! Had to come back on, this is my sanity place at the mo - I feel nauseous and exhausted with the stress and the adrenaline. Plus, of course, my porch has chosen today to have one of those *mahoosive* spiders in, and my vac cleaner cut out yesterday. Oh, and the removal people had forgotten to put it in their diary that they were packing my stuff up tomorrow. And now it is in the diary, I didn't know that they'd be doing some packing tomorrow, so I have to talk to the neighbours today, whereas I would've done it over the weekend if I'd known it was for Tuesday.

I have to remember that this won't be for long!

How true! Just taken some pills, and got a cuppa tea brewing. Spoken to the neighbour I was dreading talking to, and he was fine, even made a bit of conversation, and allowed as how I had a right to expect some space outside my house on moving day.

EDIT - and the other neighbour isn't in, so I can't ask to borrow the vac....

Glad you've spoken to the neighbour - sorry to hear about the spiders - lol maybe they just *know*

Good luck for over the next few days .Guess you'll be disconnected for a week roughly so hope everything goes smoothly. At least you can take time to unpack and won't have us to distract you so will probably get it done quite quickly.

Eureka .... okay, the pills did their job of calming my stomach down. And it *is* a really nice day. And I remembered whats been said that vacuuming spiders up doesn't kill them :) Vac started work again over lunch. I emptied it. Vacummed the spider up, released the drum from the rest of the vacuum .... then I ran to the grass verge, checked the spider was still inside (it was, and sitting very prettily I might add  ) and encouraged it out onto the grass. Whereupon I ate some chocolate and have made myself some decaff coffee to celebrate :o:o:o

And now, I get 10 minutes on here, I don't care what else is happening the rest of this week :)
