Hi All,
I've decided to have a clear out before the winter sets in...need to know where the biggest/best place to car boot in suffolk and surrounding areas is?
So far I'm undecided between: Huntingdon Racecourse, Snetterton Market or Suffolk Showground (Trinity Park) any comments on these would be great, or if you have a better suggestion let me know!
Also what are the people of east anglia buying??
Thanks

Hi there i live on the Norfolk/Suffolk border and the 2 car boots that i've been to are Banham zoo and Woolpit...
I was'nt aware that Snetterton had car boot stalls, i thought it was just a giant sunday market....
Sorry i've no idea what people are buying but good luck with the clear out....0 -

Hi, the Hunts racecourse one is dreadful - we tried to sell there about 2 yrs ago and made about £10 all day despite having loads of stuff. In contrast there is one on the outskirts of cambridge which is brillliant - you can get rid of books as people actually read them in Cambridge as opposed to huntingdon where its a bit different (i live in huntingdon so feel able to comment!!)
We made £100 at the cambridge one in late september - because all the students are back in town etc. Sold old irons, kettles, even 6m of co-ax cable! Also, its really busy and really fun.
I can't remember its name but its just off the A14 near a football ground i think. You need to get there early - we were there for 6.30am and it was nearly full.
Will write if I can remember its name.0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0

Sounds like you might mean the Car Boot at Cowley Rd Park and Ride site -- about 200m from A14. (not sure it's very near a football ground though!)
If so, you should be aware that this is no longer running -- the park and ride site has moved and now runs Sundays so the car boot sale has gone.0
