I love the look of KAs as well. Part of me kinda wants one one day but the common sense part of me knows I don't want a new car until I need one (hopefully 5 or 10 years down the line when I start having kids and a 3 door car is no longer practical) and then a KA would still be no good because they're 3 door cars as well. I drive a Morris Minor at the mo, very cheap for insurance (I pay £300 for fully comp and I'm only 20 and passed my test a year ago with one year's no claims) and no tax at all. But they're a bit costly to buy (mine was £2500 though in hindsight, that was a bit high) and you do need to know a little bit about cars, or know someone who does, to save costly repair bills.

I had no trouble with a 3 door Ka when my two were small....it's only when you have to srat ferrying mates/bikes etc around that space becomes as issue-we have a Land Rover now for that sort of stuff!

morning everyone

I have a question for all of you accountanty types.
Hubby is working for a US record label who will be paying him from the US in $. He has a social security number and will be paying tax in the USA. Does it matter if the money is paid into his UK bank account or does it need to be into a US account?
Either is ok, it's just that he will have to wait for the bank account to be opened etc before he can invoice and we're kind of getting a bit skint here.
Doesn't matter Toto.....invoice awayQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
