As we're all confessing, debt is going very slowly here too, we're only paying off the minimums on everything as there's other things we've had to pay for and more to buy. Need a new freezer, new fridge/freezer, got £1k of van repairs to pay back, boiler is booked - very expensive few months.

PS I Love You is a really over-rated film, is the book better?

What do you put in a notice letter when you can't remember how long your notice period is?

Gemz, generally speaking for work if you are paid weekly, you give a week's notice. If you are paid monthly, give a month's notice. But your HR department should be able to confirm this for you.

For property, no idea - it's on the contract. usually a month or two (but some baskets try to tie you in for the length of the contract) - my best mate got stung this way in her final year of Uni. She trusted the landlord, failed to get independant legal advice (about £50) and ended up paing out the final three month's of the tenancy contract because that's what she signed up to (costing her £1200)! to this day she describes this as her second most expensive lesson (the first was her marriage;))

the film has gerard butler in it..... i fail to see how the book could be better.... lol!!!

to be fair, i wasn't really analysing the story too much, more looking at the pictures...

i likes gerard butler.. very.... now there's a man i would frisk for biscuits..!

come to think of it, there isn't a man i wouldn't frisk for biscuits!! i likes bisciuts very as well!
