Ok, well as I stated earlier, you need to get rid of this payday loan ! According to this most recent soa, you are:
"Amount short for making debt repayments. -84.2"
Without the payday loan, it would only be £14.20 !!
Also, £60 per month for presents ???
And finally, as painful as it may seem, you don't need to see each other every day. Making a short term sacrifice for a long term goal would be well worth it.

I know the pd loan is a huge bugbear and we plan to get rid of it every month but if we dont take it out then thats 350 out of DFs wage and once you take that out we just cant afford to pay everything so end up taking the pd loan back out. i know the only way out of it is to make more money.
I had my interview today, I think it went really well, Ive got to go and meet the head manager for a 2nd interview! Its for a sales consultant at a health club. Ive never done sales before but the guy said its fine as im young so they dont expect me to have experience but that I should look up more about the job and terms that I should know in time for the 2nd interview. Is anyone a sales consultant that could give me some advice lol! I really really really want this job, it would solve so many problems for us.DFW for 2010!! :TFreemans - £220 /// Argos - £240 /// Vodafone - £250 /// Halifax OD - £1100 /// Capital 1 CC - £100 /// Orange - £40

A couple of suggestions - can you aks your parents to have a few months holiday on the loan repayments? if so you could get rid of the payday loan which would at least leave you breaking even each month.
Another thought is to go to a credit union and see if they can lend you some money (to pay off the pay day loan) which would be a lot more managable rate of intrest.
Have you got anything you can sell at all?

Hi Pinkjellybean, ive been involved in the fitness industry for yonks and know a thing or too about gym/health club memberships.
i would firstly ask whether you are expected to do your own marketing, ie come up with new offers and ideas, or r u just expected 2 show round ppl who have booked for an appointment/visit?
i would find out as much as you can about the healthclub, who is it aimed at (commuters, families etc). my gym for example is very family friendly at weekds and they often do activity days at the local schools - which encourage families to join up.
does the gym offer pay per go sessions or is it strictly monthly membership?
are u paid a low basic wage and then have sales targets weekly/monthly?
i notice these jobs tend to have a high turnover rate (sales in general tend to), would u consider becoming a personal trainer/gym instructor to bolster your earning power? and would the club allow you to take the qualifications during wrk time?
Good luck with the interview, i have everythin crossed 4 u!0 -
Hi again,
FIrstly - Good luck with the job interview, I hope it goes well
Right, now down to business !! You really need to take a look at the situation you are currently in. It's not dire by any means and can be sorted out pretty quickly as long as you are prepared to make some sacrifices. I've already mentioned a few things here and you need to accept that things will need to change if you want to get out of this situation.- Travel - You have a car valued at £1600, you pay £71 per month for insurance, £100 per month for fuel, £10 tax, £10 parking, £10 maintenance. This adds up to £201 per month. You have already said that you don't (as yet) have a job and your partner can get back from work for £10 a week. You need to consider if you really need the car. Even if the oh gets the bus to and from work, it'll only be £20 per week, a saving of £160 per month, plus if you sell the car, you'll have that money to throw at your debts too. It'll be painful at first, but it'll be a massive difference to your situation. You can't keep spending all this money on a car just to see each other every day.
- Food - Buy ingredients and start making food from scratch and stop buying take-aways and lunch meals. If people expect you to chip in to their take-aways, you're just going to have to say no. This is entirely down to you to enforce.
- Presents - You simply can't afford to pay out £60 per month on presents. Simple. Either explain that you have no money or simply spend less. You can't afford to go around spending money on other people. It is that simple I'm afraid.
- Finally, make sure that you are paying the minimum possible for the things you use that you are under contract for, phone up the companies and negotiate a better deal with them.

Hi Pink.
If you decide to keep the car make sure you are getting the best petrol price by checking out https://www.petrolprices.com.
Re takeaways, how about suggesting to the family they make their takeaways 9or have them from the supermarket?
Make your own packed lunches, have a look at the threads on making cheap prezzies (or look into deals - I got a mag subscription for 30% off recently)
Dig out everything you don't want and sell it, even a few quid will help.
Good luckFind out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Good luck!

Credit Card: £600
Overdraft: £5000 -
OK one plan.
Suspend the rent for one month to remove the payday loan
Increase the rent by 10% to pay back over 10 months.
Suspend the family loans for 2months and pay off Argos and Capital1.
Gifts have to stop, you don't have the money.
Mobles go to min contacts and phone to try and get them suspended.
check for any cancellation options, some contacts can be cancelled if they are changed by the provider.
Sky tell them you have lost your job and moved out so you want to suspend the contact and will start again when you get another job and a new place. Same for the mobile broadband
Seriously review the car this is draining money, insurance is mad.
Meals at work and takeaways has been covered.
Clothes have to stop for a while use up what you have, use charity shops you have the time to search for good value stuff.0 -
Hi all i wanted to add was how about not going round to the house which orders the takeaway on that night or make it later so they will have eaten?
have you tried selling stuff on ebay? xxO/S Debt: PL £[STRIKE]15207.34[/STRIKE] £9884.55; HSBC £4060.99; Tesco£1430.15; M&S £5990.17; Virgin [STRIKE]£5158.69[/STRIKE] £4210.14; Egg £4619.00; O/S = ££30,292.42 AIM - To Be Debt Free 56 months0 -
