Any problems installing iTunes 9?

Any body else having such problems? My installation always stops at "Removing Shortcuts"

Any solutions to this problem?

Mine seemed to download and install okay yesterday but it completely messed up my playlists - I sorted them out which took ages. However when I opened itunes this morning it looks exactly like the old version

  • Well finally got it installed! My computer was being awkward as well, freezing every time I went to do something, so the only option was the power button every time!

But that's sorted itself out again, so don't know what was wrong!

iTunes 9 now has a white appearance, instead of the previous black. It also has Home Sharing and Genius mixes. iTunes store has also been completely redesigned.

Think i'll hold off on iTunes 9 for a few weeks (well i'm using linux and it was a pain to get the old one installed in Linux using WINE) lol!!

But might get it for my Win7 install though...

It's working OK on my Mac; I like the new features and the general tidy up.

The only thing is that it doesn't handle multi-disk albums properly. Instead of listing the first disk and then the second, it does this:

It's difficult to believe no one at Apple spotted it, and I think iTunes 9.0.1 might be on the way soon.

Than again, they may have just changed how it handles them. Sorting by disk number puts them in the correct order.
