Hey guys,
A while ago i bought a aftershave off the internet (random web site) which i thought was the correct one. As soon as i had bought it i realised that it was the wrong one. I emailed them and told them this but they ignored my email and i got the Chanel Allure Homme Aftershave after a few days. I actually wanted the sport version of it and because they werent replying i decided to try it out and see if i liked it..
After having it for a month or so, now i have decided i dont like it, only a few ml's have gone of the 100ml overall. Now, i'd like to sell it on ebay but i have a feeling that people will think because its open that i have just filled it up with random liquid which isnt actually the real thing..
I can prove that i bought the item for the cost of £28 and i want to sell it but does anyone think i can?
Any advice appreciated...

I am constantly amazed that people will purchase half used cosmetics and the like, so your slightly used aftershave will probably find a buyer. Having said that, I've always wondered if it's actually legal to sell something like this. Perhaps someone who knows for sure will read your post.0

How could it be illegal? because if it isnt legal i'll just give it to someone as a present! lol
thanks for your reply,

Why don't you have a look on ebay and see if there is anything similar selling. I know half bottles gets purchased on ebay as I have seen them go before!!

Cosmetics are a funny thing - you would think there would be some health and safety issues about selling on units that had been opened, (well I have some health and safety issues about purchasing them LOL) but there doesn't seem to be. Aftershave would be different again, I suppose, because having such a high alcohol content I shouldn't think anything could live in it. I was just wondering what ebay's position was on it but I don't think they have one.

Someone will buy it, but you'll only get a fraction of the £28 you paid. Better than just leaving it in the cupboard, though. One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other0
