Nero Express v6.6 CD/DVD Burning Software (OEM Suite 1) - £1.99 delivered

Ive tried Nero and had nothing but trouble with it with my PC's configuration!
All I want to do is put chapters onto a home video which I have recorded onto DVD via my DVD recorder and Nero seems incapable.

If anyone has any suggestions of which sofware to use I'd be most grateful (ps Ive used Roxia too with no luck)

I know you can do it with NeroVision Express. There's actually a button in there labelled "Create chapters"

I have Nero but when i make a dvd (was of DS's sports day) it had no sound. I got to the preview screen and no sound, couldnt find where to change it so gave up on it!

I installed Nero 7 and found it nothing but a headache. Gone back to Nero 6.

Still the 'best' version of Nero is v 6.6.1.4 or see if you can hunt down Nero 'enterprise edition'. It is virtually bug free and has never failed on my XP machine.

Friend of mine is a software freak and reckons that a lot of the 'new' versions of programs you can get as of now, were engineered with more than half an eye on Microsofts' Vista update to Windows
Microsoft have now put it's release back to Jan 2007 [ security issues!] so there may be some truth to his conjecture, might explain why a few 'new' versions are giving probs. [Dell are supposed to be v.v.unhappy 'cause they've got a lot of component supplies booked in order to cope with the expected rush for the new system - leaves them in the difficult position of having to renegotiate contracts, deliveries etc]
Anyway I'd leave v7 alone for now cause if v6 aint broke - why try to fix it?

Can anybody recommend any good cd/dvd burn/cloning software?

I'v been using Movie clone but seems to error most of the time during burning thus making the dvd unusable again.

I received the CD today in 3 days. However I could not install it as I get a message which says:

ERROR
File Nero CBUI.dll
Error 2
Could not get the file specified.

---

Tried several times, rebooted, uninstalled and tried again with no success. Anyone else had this problem, and is anyone listening who can help me? Thanks in advance.
