well here I am 11:30 on a Friday evening sat in while what seems like every single one of my mates is out on the lash.
Its chucking out time at my local and its hot so ive got the windows wide open & I can hear certain individuals shouting for taxis etc
(pubs just over the road, crawling distance)
ah the joys of being skint

Thanks guys
thinking back before I started working on becoming DF...
On a day like today i would of had no problem whatsoever with sitting outside the pub in the sun from say 3pm. Then hitting town later in the evening.
£150 down the drain and a killer hangover in the morning
ah the 'good' old days :rolleyes:Debt at highest £16k+

Different circumstances to you (two children upstairs in bed) but the last time I went out regularly on a Friday night is probably about 7 years ago
After a while you just get used to it..... get your Friday evening meal from the takeaway, get a bottle of wine and plan your 'route to midnight' on the telly.
It gets easierJust run, run and keep on running!0 -
Im in after an evening in ikea (under budget YAY!) and sorting out stuff for tomorrows boot sale. .skiving now though! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
