Scared of the dark? Don't worry, with the help of Dans Le Noir's blinded guides you'll be in safe hands and will be able to relax and enjoy the whole experience - you will completely re-evaluate the notion of taste and smell through their gastronomic and pedagogical process.

Dans le Noir? London is located at 30-31 Clerkenwell Green in a trendy area of Clerkenwell. It can accommodate sixty people in the dark room, the main dining area. It also has a lit bar and a lounge where delicious cocktails are served before and after a dinner.

1. The Dating In The Dark competition (“Competition”) is open from 8th September 2009 until midnight on 7th October 2009 (“Competition Period”) and operated by Virgin Media Television Limited, 160 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5QA (“Promoter”) and hosted via the website found at https://www.livingtv.co.uk

2. The Competition is open to all UK and Eire residents aged 18 years and over, excluding employees, agents (or families of such employees or agents) of Promoter or anyone else connected with the administration of the Competition (“Players”).

3. By entering the Competition, all Players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any Player who fails to abide by any of these Terms and Conditions, or fails to meet the entry criteria set out in paragraph 2 above, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Promoter.

4. To enter the Competition go to the website found at https://www.livingtv.co.uk/competitions/dating-in-the-dark.php click on the competition and enter your personal details (ie. full name, address, email address and mobile telephone number) on the online form. Only one entry per Player will be accepted. Players must correctly answer the following question: ‘What was the name of the dating show that Cilla Black used to host?’ A) Dinner date

5. 5 (five) winning entries shall be drawn at random from all eligible entries validly submitted (“Winners”). The decision by Promoter as to the determination of the Winners shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, lost, damaged, incomprehensible or indecipherable entries and all such entries shall be disqualified. If the entry procedure to the Competition is found to have been tampered with in any way, including submission of ‘spam’ entries, Promoter may withdraw the Competition at their discretion. All entries must be received by midnight 7th October 2009 (“Closing Date”). No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date.

7. The Prize:

The five Winners will receive the following: - A meal voucher for £80 (alcohol not included) which is valid at Dans Le Noir, 30-35 Clerkenwell Road, London. This prize does not include travel or accommodation. 8. The name and county of the Winners may be announced on the website found at https://www.livingtv.co.uk shortly after the Closing Date. The Winner will be notified via email or telephone within 10 (ten) days following the Closing Date. In the event that the Winner or Runners up fail to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 14 (fourteen) working days of receiving such notification, then Promoter reserves the right to substitute them with another Player of their choice.

9. The Prize is non-transferable and the Promoter may substitute an alternative of the same or comparable value if it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary.

10. The Winner agrees to participate in such reasonable publicity as may be requested by Promoter. The Winner agrees to the publication of their respective name and county as referred to in paragraph 8 above.

11. By entering the Competition all Players consent to the use of their personal details by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of the Competition and any other purposes to which the Player may consent on entry to such Competition.

12. As far as permitted by law (but not including liability personal injury or death arising from its negligence) Promoter excludes all liability in connection with the Competition or the Prize awarded or not awarded in connection with the Competition.

13. Promoter reserves the right to modify or vary the Competition and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time.

14. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising.
