Hi,
If I purchase a product, that is significantly reduced in price shortly after I buy it, am I entitled to a refund of the difference?
If so, within what time frame?
If not, !!!!!!.
Thanks,
J.

NO.................
but I can understand you being a bit p*ssed off! We've all been there.
If it is a large store they may have a 30 day refund policy if still in the same unwrapped condition.

You were offered an item at a stated price, you accepted that price and paid, sealing the contract.
No, you are not therefore automatically entitled to anything back if the price changes. If the price went up after you buy, would you expect to pay the extra?
The only possible recourse is when buying goods at a distance (phone, internet etc) where you have the right to return the goods in original condition within 7 days for a full refund. Do a search on the "Distance Selling Regulations" for details of this.0 -
The age old problem of buyers remorse!
You wouldn't be so quick to give the retailer the difference back if the item went back up in price!0 -
!!!!!! isn't a rude word. !!!! is, as is !!!!biscuits but not !!!!!!.0

It's not really buyers remorse, it just seems a little unfair.
If I'd have waited 2 days, it would have been £200 cheaper.
It just seems morally wrong more than legally.
!!!!biscuits =O, I prefer fugecake.

Lots of retailers do a price promise EVEN AFTER purchasing the item. (normally 7 days after)
My friend claimed £120 back on two LCD Tellies from PC World (within the 7 days) as the price went down, lucky I spotted it!!!
It is a way if your retailer does this.0 -
Its luck of the draw when you buy something that it could be on offer the following day or the the following week,0
