Cleaning my patio

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a way of cleaning patio slabs without using a pressure washer. I live in an area where a hose is for the spiders to live in and not for me to use. I'm sure there must be solutions I can just mix in a bucket but I wondered if anyone had any tips.
Thanks all,
Jay

I just use hot water and bleach. I brush it over the slabs, leave for 20 mins and then brush over witha deck brush. Rinse.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0
