  • TBH I think they should sell it, if you have paid the price and ordered and it all went through surely it should be ok and they should honour it!

Get onto trading standards about it! Tiger xxx

I thought that if they'd taken the money from your account, they'd accepted and agreed to your offer...? A price is an invitation to buy, you accepted that invitation and made the offer of their (then) asking price, I thought once they took payment, they had legally agreed?

    its a joke really tho!
they can advertise a price then 'turn round and say we no longer want to stand by that'
felt sorry for the lady tho
me ranting at her but i was really mad!and did say sorry befor i put the phone down just befor saying ill never order NOTHING FROM U AGAIN
    LOL
asda all the way for us woo hoo!
    pmsl
  • I also tried to buy this ring and received the phone call cancelling. Annoying though that we have to call the customer service dept to arrange the refund as it is not done automatically. Just spent 15 minutes on hold waiting to speak to them.
  • ill never order nothing is a double negative. It means you will buy something....

Its irritating, but you should be able to understand that humans make errors and clearly this is one of them. They gave u the option to pay the extra or to have a refund. You selected refund, there shouldn't be a problem really.

  • Ahh I see, I really thought they should sell it, maybe morally at least. Thanks for the update! Tiger xxx
