  • hi, firstly if you havet worn them in 2 years its unlikely you will ever wear them. get rid cash in and then when debts cleared - treat yourself to a new KM piece xxxx

The best thing about it is I'm so not even a Karen Millen kind of girl! I live in studenty stuff from Fat Face etc. I just adore some of the KM stuff but I know I would only wear it if I had a "smart" job and I'm sure I never will!

Why not keep one favourite item from those you have? If you make yourself sell the rest, allow yourself to keep the favourite one. You have not worn them for two years and do not need them at all, but if keeping one clears out a dozen more....then money and space go up at the expense of one hoarded item, lol. Plus, you can keep the pictures of the ones you have sold, hoarding pictures of clothes you don't wear is just as good as the items! lol
  • Not that I could ever fit my fat butt into Karen Millen clothes but they do seem to fetch a decent price on e-bay!Go for it!:T

  • Thanks again everyone, I couldn't get the camera sorted but I WILL be listing them tomorrow. Works out well anyway as I can do a 10 day listing with them finishing on a weekend. Loving the idea of keeping the pictures!

SP1987 - Thanks for the suggestion, I've actually decided to keep a white shirt because it's perfect for interviews and hopefully I will be needing it soon anyway!
  • Please just tell me to sell them. I do love them but it's such a waste when I don't wear them and I have debt to pay off.

I found that it helped sometimes to tell myself that I was only selling this stuff on eBay so as to make room for more stuff ... :D Well, as I say, it helped. I have sold a lot on eBay but some of the photos of stuff I sold still give me a pang of regret when I look at them, even though I didn't really need them.

I'm glad it's not just me that has this strange attachment to "things", I mean, they're not exactly important in the grand scheme of things are they?!

I got to the stage where I had to sell stuff because I could see a bit of debt-slaying money in it - it was either taking over the house (and I really do prefer to have the minimum, no fan of ornaments me), got too expensive (I used to have a rather half-decent Saab but was a b****r for petrol, tax and insurance) or was presents from an ex.
I have a very large Mulberry handbag, handbag jewel-thingy and a matching purse that in all cost almost £1000. It's heading to Ebay next week - designer or not and whether I like it not (I don't, I actually hate it).
Out of owning the bag or paying off my debt (of which I will be free of forever one day), the thought of never being scared, nay, truly terrified of the post or a knock on the door fills me with such joy, there's no comparison.
