It could be overheating. Open up the case and have a look for any fans that might not be spinning. Or if you have a desk fan, blow air against it whilst running and see if that helps.
If it still crashes with all the fans spinning or an external fan blowing, it could be a faulty power supply.0 -
also make sure that the air holes in the case are clear of dust , remove the covers and BLOW any dust or debris out of the motherboard, fan and cpu vents (never use a vacumn cleaner !!!)
make sure their is adequte space round the PC for air to flowEx forum ambassador

Sounds like an overheating problem to me, like the others said clean our your fans with an air sprayer, you can also check yuour temperature by using a program called Speed Fan which can be found here > http://download.softpedia.com/software/system/info/SpeedFan_4.28.exe or if that doesnt work here > http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/SpeedFan--beta-Download-4103.html0

hi tryed hair drierer but it now turns of after an hour ,do u think an air compresser would be to strong to blow away any dust0

Ok, so it does indeed sound like a heat related problem. If your PC is in normal environment like a bedroom then its highly unlikely there's enough dust built up to clog the holes.
Best bet is to open it up and have look. Honestly, the hardest bit is often getting the lid off. Look for fans which are not spinning. I would hazard a guess that the CPU fan is broken or has come loose. 9 times out of 10 thats it.0 -
Or if it is try getting a liquid coolant system for your pc, you may need a new case for this but you can just put all your old computer parts in the new case as long as it has all the holes in the right place. Or try getting a notebook cooler and place to one side of the computer vertically so it is blowing cool air into your computer.0

Sounds like a dying PSU to me....
Just fixed one myself that had these symtoms. PC would die on load/idle, then wouldnt power up again until it was ready...
Dont think the caps were holding enough charge, or the PSU was simply overheating and cutting out to protect from fire etc.0 -
hi all thanks for the replys ,I blew the case out with air compresser and restarted computer and so for (touch wood) its been going for the last 4 hours so I think it must have been dust hopefully0
