Today I went into my local shop for the first time in ages. I thought I would like an icecream so I took my choice paid my money and walked out. On getting to the roadside by the shop I unwrapped the ice cream to find it fall to bits as it had melted. I go back to the shop and show them. 'Well it is a hot day and it has melted'. Considering I had been out of the shop for less than a minute I was not happy with this reaction. Next I was told that the other ice creams were OK and that I must have had it in the sun. I was not impressed with this asked for a replacement which I was grudgingly given, with the warning to 'check the ice cream before you leave the shop next time'. I don't think there will be a next time somehow.

I find that in the shop by my local tube station the ice creams in there are all melted too! Maybe the freezer wasn't turned high enough. I'm dubious buying ice creams from local shops.0
