Paid money into wrong account... Grr!

Hi,
This may be a stupid question - it's definitely a stupid situation.
My partner pays his share of the rent, bills, etc., into my bank account via online banking. Last month I changed my bank account to the Co-op, as I owed £900 on my old overdraft to Natwest and have just started a debt management plan with cccs. So lat month I gave my partner my new account details and he paid the money into my new bank account. This month, I have just noticed that he's paid it into my old account by mistake (apparently his online banking hadn't stored my new details and he didn't remember I'd changed to the Co-op).
So now £392 has been paid into my old Natwest account, which they are not letting me have any access to since starting the DMP. Obviously, as I am on a DMP, I have absolutely no spare cash, I certainly can't afford to lose £392. And now it's taken my new account overdrawn by £260 (I have a £200 limit) and I can't afford to pay my council tax, which is due tomorrow. Bloody fantastic.
Anyway, my stupid question is, does anyone have any idea whether he or I can get the money back from Natwest? And if so, how?
Thank you!

Faster payments cant be recalled. The bank of which the money was sent from would have to write to natwest and ask for the funds back.
Under the circumstances Natwest will possibly say no.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Have NatWest agreed to the DMP?
If so you can ask to see if they will refund but legally they don't have to as you owe them the money. If they have not agreed to it you have virtually no chance IMO.0
