Cash converters are a joke. Like all the others are that advertise on daytime TV.

They are their only to ripoff the poorest of people that can't get bank loans or the credit rating to have a credit card, by letting them think they can buy the lastest stuff and pay for it over the nexxt 2 years at some extortionate interest rate.

Borro.com is the same, we take your stuff give you some low amount for it then you can get your stuff back at a really high monthly interest %

If your poor/ low income avoid them like the plague.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

Is that so? I bought a set of golf clubs for £25 from there last year.
    • Ping irons
    • Taylor Made Woods
    • Titelist Driver
    • Odyssey Putter
All around 10 years old, but still, second hand value = £300-£350.
Not to mention 20-30 balls, an (admittedly crap) bag and, best of all, a brand new pair of Footjoy shoes (£40-£50).

But second hand and probably gave the guy 200 pounds for them
and he paid maybe 300 pounds in interest , couldn't pay the last payment so lost them and they recovered the 25 pounds from you
