    Thanks OP - I like to save the wine for xmas (note the word "like", so not always achieved). The apple pie freezes well to stretch things out a bit. Will pop via M&S tomorrow. :o

    Thanks, managed to get a chicken for £6.99...the rest were between £4 and £5.50 ish.

    Point worth noting..new alcohol laws in Scotland meant I couldn't get the wine until 10am. As it was 9.10am, I wasn't hanging about so just took the fresh orange.

    I have been waiting for the offer to include the chicken again before I went and bought it. Could anyone tell me which of the wines is quite sweet as I really don't like dry wine. TIA.

  • The chickens are raw and only had small ones (£3-£4) in our M&S :(.
