Someone answered a question for me yesterday and I wanted to say thank you - but couldn't. The Thanks button has disappeared from my screen?
Is it just me? Have I missed something? Has it been abolished? Does anyone know how I can get it back? I do like to say thank you to people (and to be thanked in my turn)!

I think everybodies thanks buttons have gone, but im sure they will be back soon!!!! (the avys disapeared as well, but they are back now).0

Same here, I think the "Thank" button disapeared after the site was down, a few days ago for maintainance.0

What's a Thanks button? Sorry but I'm fairly new here, although not new to the internt/forums as such, but have never come across this before.0 -
Well, there was a button (like the quote button below) marked Thanks. If you read a post which was useful and wanted to show your appreciation for a useful post, you pressed it. Then the record under the person's name changed to "Thanked x times in x posts". No-one has said thank you to you yet as you're new, but they will, they will! We're a very friendly and supportive bunch here! Hope it soon comes back, that's all!0

I am finding that the 'go to first new post' button isn't working wither. Anyone else having this problem? I hope it hasn't gone in the changes as I found it very useful.0

Choclare...Andrea's post here explains why the thanks button has dissappeared again.
exlibris...People have been discussing the problems they're having with the site at the moment on the this site board. I think a few are having problems with that.
